In the movie Coraline directed by Henry Selick is a good movie. The actor who plays Coraline is Dakota Fanning. The setting is Oregon's rural country. The genre is an animated kids show. The movie is based on a book written by Neil Gaiman about a girl named Coraline who wants excitement in her life.
First Coraline finds a secret door in her house. Coraline is then given a doll that looks exactly like her. After Coraline goes to bed a mouse appears and Coraline follows the mouse. She follows the mouse to the secret door and then she goes into the door. When she enters the door she is transported to a parallel universe that is completely set up for her by her "Other Mother", played by Teri Hatcher. After a while of going to the perfect world, the "Other Mother" wants to sew buttons in Coraline's eyes so she can stay forever. Coraline refuses and as revenge the "Other Mother" takes Coraline's parents. Coraline goes back so she can save her parents. While in the portal Coraline is warned by a cat, voice of Robert Bailey Jr.. that the "Other Mother" is tricky. When Coraline gets there she offers to play a game with the "Other Mother" to free the ghost and save her parents. Coraline wins the Game and all is safe.

One aspect of film making is ht wardrobe. In animated films a character will have multiple outfits they will wear throughout the movie. the fashion designers in this movie had to make the cloths look real by making creases and folds; just like a real piece of clothing. It takes time and effort to make one outfit for Coraline can wear that would look real.
Another important part in film making is the setting. If the setting in a movie isn't just right the whole scene or movie could be ruined. In Coraline the background had to be just right so it would capture the mood of the movie and what time of year it was. If that wasn't what the director wanted it to look like then the whole process stops and they have to create a background that fits the directors vision.

Overall I thought the movie was good. However i wouldn't show this to a four year old. In my opinion the movie seemed unrealistic due to the fact that the "Other Mother" turns in to a monster. I liked the actors and how the movie was set up.

It follows the movie review format. It definitely breaks done the movie, but it sounds too choppy. You had your opinion in there, nice and clear. Flow could've been a little better. You put in information about the film aspects, which was great.

Overall, the review was very choppy and kind of confusing. I felt like the whole article didn't really flow and if you just combined a few sentences it would have been a lot better. The summary was short but very wordy at the same time. One of the "rules" of movie reviews is to not spoil the ending, but you gave the ending away so just make sure not to do that next time. There was only opinion at the end so i think there could have been a little more webbed in throughout the summary.

1st sentence doesn't make sense. First picture is a little blurry. Grammar is off on a couple sentences. Post was a little short. put a little more detail in what happened throughout the movie. Had a lot of opinion, needs more of what happened.

There are to many short sentences that could have been combined to make this review sound better. I think that if I had never watched this movie and I read the background from this review I would be lost and not really understand what the movie is about. There were a few misspellings throughout this review and some of the sentences didn't really flow together. Also I think that Wikipedia is not the most reliable source for a link. I liked the pictures that were put on this review because it shows what the other mother looked like when she was nice and when she was mean. I also liked the picture of the cast.
